In order to setup the homepage manually follow the steps below,

1. Go to Settings > Reading
2. Select A Static page on the Frontpage displays option.
3. Choose your preferred home variation from the Front-page drop-down menu.
4. Select Blog from the Post page drop-down menu. (optional)

How to Flush Permalink

If you want to pass by the unwanted 404 error in your demo site then you must flash permalink before importing data. To flash permalink follow the simple steps below,

Note: You must flash permalink before using any LMS or in time of switching from one LMS to another.

• Go to Settings > Permalinks
• From Common settings choose Post name and click save changes.

Now, you can import demo data perfectly.
